Hi!
I'm Amy.

A little more about me...

36.2168° N, 81.6746° W

Thanks to Covid times, I was forced to make a shift in the way business was running. Couples were no longer permitted to have large, indoor weddings. We had to adapt and get creative which opened the door to smaller, more intimate outdoor elopements. Witnessing vows in front of God's great backdrops, surrounded only by the crickets and the pines connected me to the moment unlike ever before. Combining outdoor exploration with the authentic capture of intimate vows in a private setting, free from the stress connected to orchestrated grand wedding productions, quickly became my passion - and finally, I was doing what I love!

I packed up and moved to the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains in 2023. Along with this change, I rebranded my photography business to Ridge & Reverie - Blue Ridge Adventure Weddings. This shift isn't just about business; it's a deeply personal journey to align my talent with my passion for the great outdoors. Now, I specialize in the magic of adventure weddings where couples can connect on a deeper level without the pressures of societal expectations, all while capturing and expressing my creativity in the most beautiful natural settings.

As a child, I would borrow my dads camera to organize hilariously bad photoshoots of my dogs, friends, and family. I was a fauxtographer my entire life until I went pro in 2011 when I launched my lifestyle and wedding business, Amy Nadine Photography. I've always taken the phrase "do what you love" quite literally, so I struggled with why I loved taking photos but didn't always love what I was doing professionally...
